CFARD Reunion 2006

Carlos started way back in 1988 a project called "Community Based Rehabilitation" project which aims to provide physical rehabilitation services to disabled persons, especially in poor rural areas. That project was started in two places in the Philippines - in Laguna and in Davao City. Those projects were funded by the Christofell Blindenmission of Germany. The Laguna project eventually became a separate independent charitable foundation now known as CFARD - short for Christian Foundation for Rehabilitation of the Disabled. The staff recruited and trained by Carlos has labored with great dedication and zeal since 1989 and continues their work to this day. An informal reunion was held in May 2006, where everyone enjoyed videoke singing. The following pictures clearly show the joy and happiness of the CFARD staff.
